Forever Vineyards

This 2012 Pinot Noir at $10.99 is an ok wine.

3/5 on the Linda Scale.

The following notes are short and tend to be quickly taken after a quick sampling in the evening.

Forever Vineyards smells good.  It has a tiny bite to it and is a bit dry.

I might serve this at dinner, but probably would try to find something better.

This Pinot Noir at 6.57 is very average.

3/5 on the Linda Scale.

The following notes are short and tend to be quickly taken after a quick sampling in the evening.

Mark West has a very neutral smell to it.  It is a bit bitter and dry.  This wine knocked me out, but I felt good the next day.

I would not suggest serving this to guests, but it is cheap enough to drink if you find it in your wine cabinet.

Kudos has a very tart taste to it.  It is much better cold, but even then a second glass was not good.  It has a weird taste and a bit of a bite.

Do not serve this wine to quests.

I did not take many notes on this wine, but I do recall being very impressed with it.  It was a super smooth which I like.  I was also very easy to drink.

I would really need a second sampling to know for sure if I would serve this to guests, but I believe it would be a good wine to share with others.

This 2013 Pinot Noir is pretty good.

4/5 stars on the Linda Scale.

HAHN Winery has a pleasant and fruity aroma.  The taste is smooth, with a slight spice to it, perhaps cherry.

It is an easy wine to drink.  After 2 glasses no issues I had no issues.  The next morning I still felt fine.  Overall, not a great wine, but ok.  A drinkable wine.

If this was all I had I would probably serve it to guests.  As a smooth drinkable wine with no ill effects it isn’t a bad choice.

This Pinot Noir at a cost of $5.99 is a great Chile wine.

5/5 stars on the Linda Scale

The following notes are short and tend to be quickly taken after a quick sampling in the evening.

Pinot Evil is a great deal at the cost.  The bottle is clever which is often a bad sign, but this wine won me over.

It has a very delightful smell with hints of cherry.  Overall is was a great wine for drinking.  My notes to do gush over this wine, but for the price it is hard to pass on.

This is probably ok to serve at dinner, but more appropriate for a night of drinking than a fine dinner.

Sterling Vintner’s Collection is one of the best wines I think I have tried.  The reason I say this is as I look through my notes on this wine I clearly enjoyed it more and more throughout the night.  I returned to my notepad several times to indicate I thoroughly enjoyed this wine.

My initial comments indicate Sterling Vintner’s Collection has a very pleasant smell.  Upon tasting the wine I note it tastes delightful and not bitter.

The following notes are word for word out of my journal:  Seriously a great wine.  One of the best wines I have had in a long time.  Seriously good.

I would not hesitate to serve this wine to guests.
