Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery, 1997

Austin Powers is frozen in the 1960’s and thawed out in the 1990’s so that he can fight his arch nemesis, Dr. Evil.  He must stop Dr. Evil from controlling the world, but first he must understand the ’90’s is not the ’60’s.

Austin Powers is always trying to get with his sidekick Ms. Kensington.  Can he win her heart?

This comedy is truly funny stuff.  Austin is a fish out of water or really just out of time.  It is a good versus evil in the funniest sense of the struggle.  This is a spy movie where the hero thinks he is cool, and he once was.  Now he is just a bit out of touch.
