Luc Pirlet – Pinot Noir
Luc Pirlet is a French Pinot Noir. It has a twist top which is very convenient. The pour isn’t too dark.
The initial smell is intense and dark or rich in nature. This is a good wine. I little bitter, but nothing harsh about it. I would recommend it. My later thoughts were, this is a really good wine.
I would give this wine a 4/5.
La Delizia – Pinot Noir
My initial impressions of this wine is excellent and not harsh. I very drinkable wine. This particular wine is not good with chocolate at all. This is a twist top bottle which makes it easy to take places.
It is an Italian wine and Estate bottled which often means the Estate’s best grapes will go into this wine. One can only hope that the grapes are good.
I had this wine again the other night. Different year I think, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Two glasses and I was feeling fine. I do not think I would suggest more than that, but the next day I felt good.
It has an intense flavor to it, but it isn’t a bite, just an intense flavor. I can understand why I wouldn’t like this wine with chocolate. It would have brought out the bitterness with the sweet paring with the wine. I would highly suggest this wine to anyone who comes across it.
I would say this is a strictly serve with red meat kind of wine. Finish it before you start in on any deserts or anything sweet.
Overall I would give this wine a 4/5 rating.
Magna Terra
This Pinot Noir is pretty good.

This is a fairly dark wine. It has a strong smell, with an intense fruit flavor. It is slightly dry, but not bitter.
Overall I liked this wine. I would say it is dinner worthy especially with a piece of red meat.

HAHN Winery has a pleasant and fruity aroma. The taste is smooth, with a slight spice to it, perhaps cherry.
It is an easy wine to drink. After 2 glasses no issues I had no issues. The next morning I still felt fine. Overall, not a great wine, but ok. A drinkable wine.
If this was all I had I would probably serve it to guests. As a smooth drinkable wine with no ill effects it isn’t a bad choice.
This 2013 Riesling at a cost of $9.99 was very good.

Overall Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler is a very good Riesling. It has nice apple tones to it. The taste is quite rich. It smells good, very pleasant.
This is an easy wine to drink. I would be willing to serve this to guests.
